Grief Support Group in Windsor, Nova Scotia

As part of our long-term vision, the Hospice Society of West Hants hopes to establish a peer-led grief support group for adults aged 18 and over who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Our goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and respectful space where participants can share their experiences, connect with others who understand, and find support throughout their grief journey.

Grief can feel isolating, especially after the death of someone close. We envision a welcoming community where individuals can come together for conversation, reflection, and mutual support, recognizing that every person's experience with grief is unique and healing happens at their own pace.

This future grief support group would not be therapy, but rather a supportive peer environment built on understanding, compassion, and shared experiences. Whether a loss is recent or occurred years ago, we hope to offer a place where everyone feels welcome.

As we continue working toward this goal, we invite you to join our newsletter to stay informed about our progress, upcoming initiatives, and future support programs.
